3 Reports

There are three basic reports and these can be produced to match almost any selection criteria. They can be viewed on the computer, printed out or converted to spreadsheet and word processing files.

The Valuation report, which is always a single page, shows costs and number of jobs for each element and in each year or bands of years. You can select the codes (elements) and years for individual properties or groups of properties. This report can also be downloaded into a spreadsheet for further financial analysis and formatting. The example on the left shows a screen grab from Hcond. The example on the right has been converted into a spreadsheet.

The Page report  is a computer generated copy of the survey form. Again, you can select on properties, attributes, codes and periods. A complete printout of the Page reports allows the use to keep a paper record of the condition survey and record works manually if required. When the Page report is converted to a spreadsheet it can be used as a powerful selection tool. For example, if filters are added, it's easy to produce lists of dwellings which meet certain criteria.

The Line report shows data on a property by property basis. As with the Valuation report you select the codes, years/periods, properties etc. This is the report you would normally use to plan programs of repairs and elemental renewals. The example on the right shows properties with kitchen repairs/renewals (code 206) and the appropriate years. If you want a list of property addresses without any repairs data this is also the report you should select. A later section explains how to search the database and select items for this report. The Line report produces a spreadsheet (left) which allows attributes to be selected, compared and analysed.
